Aria has become a real swinger and slider

Aria's first experience on a slide was when Amber's family visited from Florida in early April. This video starts with Aria's very first time on a slide and then shows how she has become the master of the slide only a month later. She also got her first experience on a swing that same day. What a great experience! We now ride our bikes to the playground several times each week to play on the slides and swings. When we are several hundred feet away and the playground first comes into sight Aria starts clapping, kicking her feet and giggling in excitement. She loves the swings and slides. Mommy and Aria Have Their Own Language

Aria has been learning a lot of new sounds lately and having great fun with her tongue in the process. Mommy seems to be having a similar experience. I caught Mommy and Aria in a private conversation at lunch one day. If you can figure out what they are saying to each other, please let me know. Aria is now a Toddler

Just in the past few weeks, Aria has really shown interest in walking. While she took 7 steps one day over a month ago she didn't seem to do a much more walking until recently. This video is about 10 minutes long and shows her progress from April 24th to May 11th. She has really made some huge strides. Even in the last day she seems to be walking faster and with more confidence. People tell us that we better watch out but we're delighted! Kitties beware!

Aria the Wild Elephant Rider

Aria is developing some more amazing skills. A blue elephant named Elijah has recently moved into our house and Aria took it on to herself to tame the wild elephant. As you can see, she has been quite successful, even demonstrating some bronco bucking skills. You will hear Aria saying "ki ... ki... " several times near the beginning of the video. That's because she is saying "kitty" to our kitty Sky who is sitting just out of view. Now Aria has an elephant in the living room and a car to ride in the music room.
