Aria pedals a bike for the first time

Aria decided to let go of the training wheels and the balance bike (which has been her regular bike with no pedals) and go for it. As you can see, she did great right from the start. We were all so excited.  Video taken April 24, 2013.

Aria Goes to Maui - Boogie Boarding

Aria, her Mom, and her Dad went to Maui from March 27 to April 11, 2013. Aria got to do a lot a great things, particularly having fun in the ocean. We spent the first week on the east end of Maui near the small town of Hana. Aria got to try boogie boarding for the first time at a beach near Hana and loved it from the start. As you can see, she got better and better as time went on. By the end she was riding pretty big waves. She described their sizes based on how old of a child could ride them.  As she got better she could ride a 5 year old wave. Then, she got really good (and brave)  and rode some 8 year old waves. She even told me the some of the waves she rode were 11 year old waves!   Video taken March 29 and April 7, 2013.
