As we all know, Aria loves water. Here she is helping Mommy water her plants. At the end of the video she also enjoys playing with a ball. Just in the last week or so Aria has learned how to kick a ball. If you listen closely, you will hear her say "kick" several times. Videos taken Aug. 22, 28 and 30, 2009.

Playing Ball with a Dog
Last weekend Aria, Mommy and Daddy visited our cabin on Orcas Island. While we were there we visited our friends and their dogs. Since Aria has enjoyed playing ball with mommy and daddy lately we thought she might really enjoy getting to play ball with a dog. As you can see, she is learning how to throw a ball very well and she (and the dog) had a great time playing. Notice how Aria says "ball" several times. Video taken Aug. 9, 2009.

Fun with potatoes, pin wheels, and swings
I got a little camera crazy this evening and snapped a lot of photos of Aria. First, Aria and I harvested potatoes from the garden, which she thought were were great things to toss off the deck. Then we went out to our front yard where there is a pin wheel in the ground. Aria has enjoyed watching it spin in the wind and figured out today how to move it through the air to get it to spin. And lastly, we went next door where three children live, ages 4, 5 and 7. They have a play structure with a slide and swing. The neighbors enjoy it when we come over with Aria and she just loves swinging. Photos taken Aug. 7, 2009.

Birthfather Charlie's visit
We were fortunate to have Aria's birthfather, Charlie, drop by our house today. While he was here he read Aria one of her favorite books, "Giggle, Giggle, Quack" (we read it to her at least 3 or 4 times per day and it is held together by more tape than paper). It was nice to see Charlie and a special treat for Charlie to read to Aria. Photo taken Aug. 1, 2009.
