Aria Watches Fish

We ate dinner at On Rice Thai Restaraunt recently, as we often do because all three of us love the food there. Our table was right next to the huge fish tank full of beautiful fish. I was able to record a few minutes of Aria enjoying the fish. Video taken October 16, 2013.

Aria Goes to a Pajama Concert

Aria, Mom, and Dad went to a pajama concert performed by two local musicians. The concert was in the Roeder Home, a historical house owned by the City of Bellingham and often used for small concerts. The concert was set up so that children could come wearing their pajamas and bring blankets and Teddy Bears if they wanted. Aria was really excited getting ready for the concert and even broght her piggy slippers. It was a wonderful concert and here is a short video of part of one of the songs the musicians performed - the Wheels on the Bus. Video and photos taken Oct. 17, 2013.

Aria Goes on the Whatcom County Farm Tour and Celebrates her 5 1/2 year Birthday

Aria, Mom, and Dad enjoyed the annual Whatcom County Farm Tour in September. We've enjoyed the tour in past years and this year was no exception.   Aria enjoyed picking fresh food and seeing the animals even more than in past years. Photos taken September 14, 2013.

Farmer Bob gave Aria an ear of corn to throw to the pigs
Aria said that it was her favorite part of the whole farm tour

One of the stops on the farm tour had cool wooden animals to ride

Aria was very excited that she was going from being 5 1/4 to 5 1/2 years old on September 17. She even wanted to have a happy half birthday banner, a cake, and a present. Aria and Mom were going to make half a cake but decided to just go ahead and make the whole thing.   Photos taken September 17, 2013.

Aria on the morning of her 5 1/2 year birthday with balloons and her banner

Her present was a mirror that she had been admiring at the store.
It has the moon and stars around the mirror.
She has placed it on the wall of her bedroom (she  hammered in the nail).
Isn't the reflection of her face in the mirror and the light on her face cool?
