Aria's new swing in the woods and a new house

As you know, Aria loves to swing, so we built a swing on our land on Orcas island between two trees. Aria loved it. She spent hours this past weekend swinging and swinging. As a special bonus we've included a view of the very beginning of our new house being built on Orcas. Here you can see the outline of the new house just before the foundation is poured. Aria's bedroom will be on the second floor with windows looking out over the ocean and islands and, of course, her swing. Videos taken September 26, 2009.

Aria Discovers the Trapeze Swing

Just a couple of days ago Aria discovered the trapeze swing at the next door neighbor's house. Aria plays on the swings nearly every day, crawls on the stairs and sometimes slides but this was a first. As you can see, she got the hang of it pretty quickly. Aria really likes the five year girl who lives next door and watches how she swings on the trapeze. Aria and the neighbor girl also play the "boo" game, which Aria plays with Mommy later in the video. Aria is learning lots of new words lately, as you get to hear. We've counted over 75 words that she knows. Video taken August 31, 2009.
