Here is a much belated post about our trip with Aunt Lisa and Uncle Rich in July. Lisa planned the trip for us with the idea that she and Rich would bike between destinations during the day, while we drove. That gave each family plenty of time during the day to do their own thing, and plenty of time to visit in the morning and evening.

I'll start with a group shot. This is taken at the Tumwater B&B in Leavenworth, Washington, where we stayed both the first and last nights.

Aria had lots of chances to swim, both in rivers and in pools. This pool is at Birchfield Manor, where we stayed in Yakima.

The itinerary was based on a tour called Washington Volcanoes. We got to see Mt. Rainier, Mt. St. Helens, Mt. Adams, and Mt. Jefferson. Here are Ted and Aria hiking near Paradise Lodge where we stayed at the base of Mt. Rainier.

This shot shows Aria with Uncle Rich (Karen's brother-in-law) on Windy Ridge looking out at Mt. St. Helens.

The last two shots show just how talented our little Aria is at accessorizing. She definitely knows how to wear a hat, and the combo of sunglasses and binky is the ultimate in cool fashion.
