Aria brought home a really cool story paper that she made at school. It has a drawing that she made of her friends Audrey, Shiloh with Aria (from left to right in the drawing). Next comes the tree and a robot. Aria made up a story to go with the drawing.

Aria asked Audrey what colors she wanted for her shirt and dress. She just told me that she made the robot in flesh color.

The way they do story papers at Aria's school is that the child draws the picture, then dictates the story to the teacher, who writes it on the paper in pencil. Then the child traces the teacher's writing with a marker.
Aria, You did a great job. I love your story. I saw the book The Five Little Ducks and thought of all of us acting out this story on the beach. You are a show stopper. Can not wait to read more of your stories. I especially liked that you asked your friends what color dresses they would like to have. That was very nice. Your drawings are advanced for your age.I always ask open ended questions to find out about my students drawingsbut do not have them trace my letters. What a great Idea. Love You!
