Aria Performs in the Children's Christmas Pageant

When it was announced that there would be a children's Christmas pageant at the Bellingham Unitarian Fellowship (BUF) and that children could either act or sing or do both Aria said she wanted to do both. She has been practicing for several weeks and was assigned a solo singing part (actually two children sang together) and the role of "Stable Girl" in the performance. There were practices after the church services the past several weeks and Aria practiced singing at home and in the car. Now that Karen has the sewing machine warmed up after making a Halloween witch costume she whipped up a beautiful stable girl dress. The following video is of the whole 30 minute long children's Christmas pageant, Entitled "Would you Like to Hold the Baby," which was performed as part of the church service on December 22. Most of the photos below the video were taken at the dress rehearsal just before the church service.

What a wonderful performance! I had never seen the Christmas story presented that way. Aria, you played such an important role and did an awesome job! Your singing was lovely and sang with such confidence. I could tell you had really practiced. I so proud of you and I know your mommy and daddy's hearts were filled with pride. You are such a precious child and bring so much joy. This was a wonderful gift for me to see on this Christmas Eve. I wish this very dear family, a very Merry Christmas. Hugs to all and an extra squeeze for Aria from Nana Sheryl. Xoxo
