Yesterday I saw Aria take seven steps ... just like the legend of the Baby Buddha who took seven steps upon emerging from his mother's womb ... except, of course, that Aria's a year old. Previous to that I had seen her take only one or two steps before plopping to the ground. I just held my breath and waited. I didn't want to say anything to startle her, because I didn't know how far she would go. Today, though, no walking. At least not that I saw. More and more, though, I catch her standing without holding onto anything, occasionally for up to ten seconds. And she's taken up knee-walking -- something I hadn't expected to see. It feels like full-fledged walking is right around the corner. Ted took this photo of Aria standing today, April 2, 2009.

What a big girl, you can do it, maybe you will be walking by the time your vistors come see you. Logan is coming to see you, the one that carries you as his screen saver on his cell, He also carries you in his heart. Great Granny Mcpherson
Yeah Aria!
Go Aria...First walking, soon running. Watch out mom and dad!!!
Love you much,
Nana Sheryl
